Hi, I’m Alex Reed

Former teacher, EdTech researcher, and the person behind ClassroomAI Guide — building practical AI tools and honest reviews for educators and students.

Why I Started ClassroomAI Guide

After spending years in the classroom, I watched the world of education change faster than most schools could keep up with. AI tools were exploding everywhere — but finding honest, practical advice about which ones actually worked for teachers and students was nearly impossible.

Most reviews were written by people who had never set foot in a classroom, or driven by commercial interests rather than genuine usefulness. Teachers needed two things: honest guidance on which AI tools were worth their time, and ready-to-use tools that solved real classroom problems without a learning curve.

“I didn’t leave the classroom to stop helping students. I left to help more of them — by building the tools and guidance that educators everywhere actually need.”

So I started ClassroomAI Guide. I build practical tools teachers can use directly on this site, and I review external AI tools with a real classroom use case in mind — lesson planning, grading, differentiation, note-taking. No fluff, no jargon. Just honest guidance and tools you can act on today.

What I Stand For

🔍

Honest Reviews

I only recommend tools I’ve actually tested. If something isn’t worth your time, I’ll say so.

🎓

Education First

Every recommendation is evaluated through the lens of real classroom and study needs.

🛠️

Practical Tools

Not just reviews — I build tools teachers can use directly, without any technical knowledge.

🔄

Always Updated

AI tools change fast. I keep every guide and tool current so you never act on outdated advice.

My Promise to You

  • I will never recommend a tool just because it is popular or widely marketed
  • Every “Best of” list is based on real testing, not sponsorships
  • The tools I build are designed around real teaching tasks — not generic AI outputs
  • Full transparency — if anything ever changes about how this site operates, you will know
  • I update guides and tools regularly — what you use and read is current
